The Way We Were
I found this piece of hulking machinery - rather endearingly called a paddle tug - at the National Maritime Museum.
I am not exactly sure why I clicked the picture, except that the machine looked so lovely, outdated and redundant.
Will journalists too become a redundant relic in some museum someday?

hehe. you are right. there is something nice about it.
i found myself admiring it full size on the comp. the oversized cycle chain, the brass shiney pipes and the red wheel behind looked pretty cool as well.
also i was looking so close at it that i could see you in the pic wearing your grey jacket and denims? folded from the bottom.
Oh my god, yes. You can see me. I'll have to preserve that picture.
